WAYNE, N.J. (PRWEB) July 11, 2018
Supply & Demand Chain Executive, the executive's user manual for successful supply and demand chain transformation, has selected 4SIGHT Supply Chain Group as a recipient of an SDCE 100 Award for 2018. 4SIGHT, a leading supply chain consulting, engineering, and IT services provider, is receiving the prestigious accolade for the seventh time based on a successful collaboration with online retailer Adore Me. Adore Me has seen an exponential growth since inception in 2012, and in order to scale further, the company moved away from its 3PL and opened its own distribution center earlier in 2018. The companies worked together in 2017 to solve Adore Me’s challenge of fulfilling customer orders during dramatic seasonal spikes. 4SIGHT led the implementation of a Tier 1 warehouse management system (WMS) on a tight deadline to bring scalability and best practices to Adore Me’s operations, enabling it to ramp up quickly to address growth now and in the future.
The SDCE 100 is an annual list of 100 great supply chain projects. These projects can serve as a map for supply chain executives who are looking for new opportunities to drive improvement in their own operations. These projects show how supply chain solution and service providers help their customers and clients achieve supply chain excellence and prepare their supply chains for success.
“First and foremost, we want to congratulate the winners of this year’s Top 100 for their successful and innovative projects, which serve as models to companies of all sizes what is achievable in their supply chains,” says John Yuva, editor for Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “Regardless of company size, these projects are best-in-class examples of the types of efficiencies and bottom-line results that supply chain executives should be striving toward in their own operations. Our 2018 winners provide a roadmap for how to get there.”
“With our new system and processes in place, we were able to ship customer orders on time during our busiest season with exceptional results,” said Krutin Shah, Adore Me’s Distribution Director. “Adore Me is now well positioned to handle our anticipated growth, and our partnership with 4SIGHT made it happen in tandem with our team.”
“We’re thrilled with the notable achievements at Adore Me and are thankful to receive industry recognition for this initiative,” said Chris Hendriks, 4SIGHT’s Senior Director of the HighJump Practice. “What we carried out at Adore Me is a great example of the possibilities that open up with the right technology and the right people working together.”
